JOB TITLE: Selenium Automation Engineer

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

SALARY: $76,800 per annum

Infinite IT World Inc is a technology services company specializing in delivering quality IT solutions. We are seeking a Selenium Automation Engineer to join our QA team.

JOB DUTIES:

This position works under the supervision and follows established testing methodologies and frameworks.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related automation tools.

• Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.

• Perform regression, integration, and system testing to ensure application stability and performance.

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid frameworks).

• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for continuous testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and improve test coverage.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and communication Engineering, or a closely related field (REQUIRED).

• Knowledge of software test automation concepts and Selenium WebDriver.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python.

• Understanding of test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED):

• Prior industry experience in test automation

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured)

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

• ISTQB or similar QA certification
